I had breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery. I was experiencing financial difficulty while home recovering from my surgery. I was assigned a social worker from memorial regional hospital. She was not nice and made it seems like it was my fault i had cancer. She treated me as if i was an inconvenience. Social workers are supposed to seek out any financial assistance available and she denied me if that. I will never forget the way i was treated. She was biased.

Was a great experience only had a few nurses who where a little bit too serious about minor things trying to make me look like a bad person!!! I'm not sure if I'd stay on her floor again!!!
On three occasions in the past 12 months, my wife was in their care and discharged only to return hours later gravely ill and placed in ICU. While the hospital is fine for minor care issues, if you have a serious issue, I would run to another hospital.
