This animal hospital offers the most comprehensive vet service, so you'll know your pet is getting the best care. All of the staff are friendly, patient and helpful. I recommend this animal hospital to people who really want good care for their pets.
Beyond pleased with the service provided at this clinic. Nothing but honest hard working people who truly love animals. I am so glad I ended up here after really bad experiences at my last Vet. Doctor Jon Dee sat with us and gave us examples so we could understand my dogs condition and the best treatment for him.He and Dr. Katherine Budge were nothing but empathetic and kind to my puppy. My dog was so happy to be there he actually didn't want to leave. They did not hustle a dime out of me (which I am not used to since my other experiences have been with money driven Vets at other privately owned clinics) these people actually care. Not only are the doctors professional and caring so is the front desk staff. Cathy is so efficient and kind. I asked her for some paper work and had them emailed at my request within 5 minutes. I wish I could give them 100 stars. Really recommend coming here if you love your pet.
BESTTTTTT PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PET!!!!!!! I can't even begin to explain the level of appreciation I have for them. They are the ONLY vet I've ever been to that sincerely cares about there animals and not the money. They really know what they are doing and they make sure your dog gets better as fast as possible. They even call multiple times to follow up on your dogs health. Will never take my dogs anywhere else. I drive an hour every time I need to take my dogs in and it's well worth it. Highly recommended.

I took 2 of my cats in for boarding during Hurricane Irma. I have been using Hollywood Animal Hospital for 10 years (now they are VCA) and have been extremely happy with the 2 Vets that I use. However, as I found out the hard way, boarding is an entirely different story. Emma and Ginger were there for 4 days. When I picked them up on day 5, I had to be taken to the kennel room (where they board), because I was told Ginger was too aggressive to take out of her cage. This didn't sound at all like my cat. But OK, understandably she might be nervous and confused. So I was escorted back, and found a big sign on the cage saying, "Cat BITES". Ginger has no teeth! Bites? The gal that had been trying to get her out of the cage was so NASTY about it. Ginger has a chart. Can't she read? Long story short, I got her out and took her and Emma home. As soon as they were let out of their carriers, neither one of them could get enough water or food. Ginger was dehydrated and it took 2 days for the skin on the back of her neck to bounce back. I might add, when I was in the kennel room, I did notice that NONE of the cages that I saw had bowls or water. Nor did they have litter boxes. This is relevant as I tell you more of my story.
Don't EVER take your pet in for boarding to this place!! I regret so much that I did.
I noticed a strong smell of urine emanating from Ginger. When I dropped her off at the hospital for boarding, I included one of her smaller beds. They hadn't given that back to me saying it was being washed. Now I understood why. On top of not being fed (I left a new bag of dry food when I dropped them off) or given water for who knows how long, she also was left laying in her own urine for a long period of time. I assume in her bed. I assume along with her feces. It took me two bathings with Dawn and still could not completely get rid of the stench. It was all over her and deep in her skin, not just the fur. Her skin must've been burning her! I am so very ANGRY! She was traumatized by this experience and it took her nearly 2 days to resort back to her old self.
My first time here was last night after my 3-lb cleft palate dog aspirated while I, and the other members of my family, were at work. When I arrived, I told the staff my dog had aspirated and the front desk woman immediately picked up the phone and called for a vet tech stat. This was my first impression within seconds and I was already extremely happy. 2 vet techs came out, filled with concern asking about my dog to my mom while I filled out paper work. We let them know about the cleft palate and what hit me the most was that they weren't passing judgement to us like other offices had. They took him right away and put him in an oxygen tank and honestly, I have never been so impressed. The staff was extremely caring and Dr. Joseph Katz was amazing! He did not judge us, asked us about Trooper's aspiration history as this was the 4th time in his 2 and a half years of life. He didn't force us to do anything we didn't want to, and was extremely understanding when we asked for price points regarding x-rays and the visit total. He was honest with us and definitely didn't make it seem about the money like other 24 hr ER vets do. Me, my family, and Trooper thank you infinitely for helping us and most importantly, not making us seem like an inconvenience to you. We'll continue to use this office as our usual vet from now on.
