Very unprofessional salon. Worst gel manicure I've ever had and I get my nails done every two weeks. The owner was very inexperienced with gel nails.
What a terrible experience... I went here today for a gel manicure and was greeted by Rosario (?) who seemed to either be the manager/owner and didn't really seemed interested that I was even there even though the entire place was empty. She gave me swatches to pick from and then disappeared for ten minutes. When she came back, she was chewing on the side of her own nail and then started filing my nails. As the process went on I asked if she would be soaking them and she said yeah later... and then asked someone to bring her the water about halfway through and didn't trim anything around my nail beds....okay.. then the gel started, not only was half of the manicure her fixing her mistakes (filing the edges of dried polish, cleaning up using her own nails, adding extra coats to fix patchyness), she also just seemed careless and inexperienced. While my nails were drying she picked up the same tools she was using on me and was working at her own nails... then she needed a different file to try and fix another edge and proceeded to "file" my nail with the cardboard side (it was not a double sided file) and didn't seem to notice/know that it wasn't working... My nails ended up looking okay, I am not expecting them to last long, but the whole experience was just awkward and unprofessional. I am not sure how experienced they are, one of the other techs was showing off her gel mani to me and it was horribly done... I am not a picky person nor was I looking for a 5 star experience, but I was very disappointed.
Horrible place for nails! They are horrible to their potential clients n rude. My 1st experience there was just 2 wks ago. I didnt want to go but a friend pulled me to go since she had her hair done there n it was close. Nevertheless, we walk in and it takes the 4 ladies who are there about 10 minutes to figure out who would do our nails. Once settled i told the lady i wanted gel polish so she had me select from some polishes they had aside. While waiting in the chair another potential client walks in. She asked for a full set and is initially ignored until my friend says something. And even though there are 2 workers doing nothing they told her to come back. She ask how long and gets no answer. I was heated and my friend spoke her nind loud enough for the potential client n workers to hear. I was there for a good 2hours as i watched people walk in and right back out. It seemed as if the only people they worked on were old clients. These ladies ate, drank, gossiped, and did very lil work if any. When my nails were done i asked if they were going to dry under a light n the lady had me put them by a little fan on the table. Because i was in a rush i told her ok n sat for a while before getting up n leaving. My friend was in the car waiting n when i got in i told her how horrible i thought the place was n tat the lady didnt dry my nails under a light which was a first for me. Shortly after my nails looked a mess. The polish was moving around in "whole layers" on the nail. This never had this happened before. I called n complained. I couldn't do anything to stop it or fix it because i had a very busy next few hours. Both our nails looked as if an unexperiened person had painted them u could c where the 1st n 2nd layers started. Today I went to get my nails done at Nails 1 and the gentleman tells me that my nails were not painted with gel polish. He shows me as he takes regular nail polish remover n removes the polish with one swipe. March 1 is a ripoff!!!
Very horrible salon. I went in for a full set and the woman doing my nails didnt speak a lick of english. She cut my fingers. She took 30 minutes just to find the right fit for my nails. i ended up leaving before they painted my nails because the service was so horrible. i decided to just go home and paint them myself. 2 days later, all the nails starting falling off one by one. I was furious. I went back and demanded a refund and they gave me certificate for a free pedicure
