I do not recommend this business for pre-arrangements, there are too many hidden costs that they don't mention until it's too late. And if you should want to move away, your stuck with my dilemma .
The staff at Fred Hunter's provided exceptional service during this extremely difficult time in our lives especially our funeral director Doreena Medina. I was especially impressed with her sincere empathetic demeanor. The staff as a group, was supportive, compassionate, thoughtful and sensitive to our needs. Fred-Hunter's Funeral Home made the whole process as painless as possible when planning a funeral. We NEVER felt pressured to add any items to our service that we did not want. They make is as easy as possible from the planning, to choices of flowers, to evening providing catering services in their community center. Doreena M. was amazing. She has been there for me and my family from the moment that I contacted them, evening calling me to obtain information so paperwork was completed prior to our meeting. It also gave me comfort to know that my loved one was not being sent to another facility for cremation and he was in their loving hands the entire time. In South Florida, there is an abundance of choices when it comes to funeral homes and services, but I will definitely be utilizing their services again when the need arises.
Fred Hunter handled my sister's funeral and they were exceptional with every aspect of the planning and the actual service. Andrea Buzzo assisted my family with all the preparations. She went above and beyond our expectations when it came to making this difficult time easier on my family, especially my elderly Father. Her kind nature and her sensitivity was greatly appreciated during the planning stage. She was extremely helpful in guiding my family to make the best plans for my sister and our family. The team at Fred Hunter was very sincere and professional and made sure every detail was perfect.
Let me explain to you that when my mother purchased these niches from your business, for cremains, she did so in good faith. As it turned out my mom did not wish to be cremated and thus we purchased a burial plot for my mom.
We then decided to transfer the niches to myself and my wife. Again, all this done in "good faith". Now we're moving to Northern Florida and no longer have a use for these niches.
My family and I cannot thank Zach and Paige for all their help, time, support and understanding during our very difficult time of the loss of 2 family members in 6 months. They were extremely patient with us and guided us in making all the decisions and plans that needed to be taken care of. They made the process easier as we were able to depend on them for all the details. This has been the most difficult time in our family along with tragedy and broken hearts. We cannot thank you enough and they will hold a special place dear to us due to the job they did at this time in our lives.
Now it seems that you advertise how family oriented and caring your business is and all I'm asking is that you purchase these niches back from me since your third party opening and closing fee's are outrageous, that I can't sell to a third party and this proves is that all your business cares about is making money and taking advantage of honest people.
