I like this Church because one side the preaching is in Spanish and the other side Preaching is in English. Both Pastors uses more scripture than most pastors. You will find that the young and elderly are nice and welcoming. I am glad to see there are great churches like this that preach the whole word of God unlike most liberal churches out there.
The spirit of God lives there.....
Taft Street is a wonderful mixture of south Florida culture and heritage. Old school Southern Baptist traditions meld with contemporary expressions of worship. I attended Easter Sunday and the message by Pastor Gerena was very direct. What I loved most? Watching Pastor Albert interact with his people afterwards. It is obvious that Taft Street has a shepherd!
My home base church for 9 years. Mostly an older group and friendly. The pastor, Albert, is the most caring, compassionate man I know.
You will like this Church if you like to hear what you need to hear not what you want hear.
